What's good for the goose
In his "Which political party is in a state of denial"? column (STAR, Oct. 8), master Popular Democratic Party illusionist A. W. Maldonado once again singles out the New Progressive Party and concludes that "if the NPP doesn't accept the overwhelming reality that the Rossello government was corrupt... what reason does Puerto Rico have to believe that — if the NPP wins in 2008 — it will not be as corrupt?"
I cannot help but get on board his train of thought and ask: If the Popular Democratic Party doesn't accept the overwhelming reality that the two recent PDP administrations have left our country in economic and emotional distress ... what reason does Puerto Rico have to believe that, if the PDP wins in 2008, it will be any different?
